What is the Patient Experience Committee? 
The Patient Experience Committee is a dedicated group of patients and their family members who use their personal experiences to provide valuable feedback to our Board of Directors. This committee plays a crucial role in ensuring that your needs and priorities are reflected in our healthcare services, program designs, and outreach efforts. 

Why Join? 
As a committee member, you’ll have the opportunity to: 

  • Share Your Experiences: Help us make your experience at Pillars Community Health better. 
  • Recommend Services: Help us identify additional services that you and other patients need that we don’t yet provide. 
  • Strengthen Community Ties: Offer advice on outreach activities to make Pillars Community Health a better community partner. 
  • Address Barriers: Highlight issues that may prevent people like your neighbors, friends and family from accessing healthcare and propose solutions. 
  • Collaborate: Work closely with Pillars Community Health staff, the Board of Directors, and other patients to make our services better.

If you’re a patient or family member of a patient who receives medical, dental or behavioral health services at our La Grange Park, Willowbrook or Riverside locations, we would love to hear from you.

Patient Experience Committee Interest Form

This position is intended for persons who are patients or family members of patients at the Pillars Community Health (PCH) health center. Patients can use their experiences to provide insight into the needs of people seeking health services, their priorities, and the relationship of these needs and priorities to healthcare services. PCH Patient Experience Committee members meet quarterly to provide important feedback about PCH services to the Board of Directors. This position will ensure that personal experiences are integrated into program design, quality improvement efforts, and to promote community-based outreach efforts to ensure people in need of health care have access to the care they need.
