Centering Community Voices to Strengthen Whole-Person Care

Pillars Community Health (PCH) believes that the strongest behavioral health services are shaped by the people who use them. Our Community Advisory Board (CAB) brings together individuals with lived experience to ensure PCH’s Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) services reflect real needs, real barriers, and real opportunities for healing.

CAB members meet regularly to provide insight, share feedback, and help shape program design and quality improvement efforts across behavioral health and substance use services.

Your voice helps guide an organization that has agency and remains deeply committed to whole-person care.

Who Can Join the CAB?

CAB membership is open to people who have direct, lived experience with behavioral health or substance use services at PCH. You may be eligible if you are:

  • A current or former client receiving CCBHC services at PCH

Why Your Voice Matters

Every person’s experience offers valuable insight. CAB members help PCH:

  • Understand what matters most to people seeking behavioral health care

  • Build programming that reflects the priorities and realities of our communities
  • Ensure whole-person care remains responsive, inclusive, and grounded in lived experience

Your participation helps improve care for thousands of people every year.
