Technology can be a powerful tool for connection, but it can also be used to monitor, control, intimidate, and harm.
Join us for a community conversation about technology-facilitated abuse, moderated by Pamela Lannom of The Hinsdalean, and learn more about how we can recognize abuse, support survivors, and help build safer communities.
Pillars Community Health will also present the inaugural Hand & Heart Award to the PNCC Nurses of UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Hinsdale and La Grange, recognizing their commitment to supporting survivors and strengthening our community.
Guests are asked to support Pillars Community Health Domestic and Sexual Violence Services with a $25 donation or a $25 Lyft or Uber gift card. Transportation gift cards help reduce a practical barrier survivors may face when accessing services and support.
