While the “shelter-in-place” order is saving lives by stopping the spread of COVID-19, we know that home isn’t a safe place for everyone. For victims of domestic and sexual violence, having to remain at home with their abusers creates a greater risk of further abuse. Facilitators will explore the effects and barriers presented by COVID-19, as well as discuss safety tips and resources available for survivors.
Note: This is a virtual training and will take place over Zoom.
