Join us in Concluding Domestic Violence Awareness Month with our 9th Annual Silent Witness and Survivor Speak-Out Event
As Domestic Violence Awareness Month draws to a close, we invite you to be a part of our impactful event – the 9th Annual Silent Witness and Survivor Speak-Out. This gathering serves as a powerful culmination of our collective efforts to raise awareness and combat domestic violence.
Silent Witness Exhibit: During this event, our poignant Silent Witness exhibit takes center stage. Each life-size red silhouette represents a real-life victim who tragically lost their life due to domestic violence. These silent witnesses stand as a solemn reminder of the lives affected by this issue.
Amplifying Voices: We remain steadfast in our commitment to granting a voice to the silenced. We advocate for change alongside survivors, acknowledging the stories and struggles that often remain hidden. Together, we ensure these stories are told, honored, and never forgotten.
Empowerment Through Storytelling: Survivors of domestic violence are invited to courageously share their stories during the Survivor Speak-Out segment. This platform provides a safe and supportive space for survivors to lend their voices, inspiring resilience and offering hope to others on similar journeys.
Sharing Our Services: Our dedicated staff will be on hand to discuss our comprehensive range of services. From counseling to empowerment programs, we are committed to providing the resources necessary to break free from the cycle of violence and forge a path to healing.
Recognition and Gratitude: We extend our deepest appreciation to the donors and volunteers who make our mission possible. Their generous support fuels our work, and during the event, we will take a moment to recognize their invaluable contributions.
Unity in Support: As attendees, you play a crucial role in shaping the event’s atmosphere. Your presence provides solidarity to those sharing their experiences. We welcome you to actively participate, offering encouragement and understanding to those who courageously speak their truths.
This event is free and open to the public.
