Domestic and Sexual Violence Training for Cosmetologists/Salon Professionals

Participants will learn to recognize signs of abuse, and how to provide support, resources, and assistance to clients who are survivors of interpersonal violence.

This online one-hour training provides an introduction to issues of domestic and sexual violence, which meets the CE requirements for all barbers, cosmetologists, estheticians, hair braiders, nail technicians, and teachers thereof. Participants will learn to recognize signs of abuse, and how to provide support, resources, and assistance to clients who are survivors of interpersonal violence. This program is a licensed IDFPR CE sponsor (License No. 290.000032); participants will receive a CE certificate upon completion.

Note: Participants must be a licensed barber, cosmetologist, esthetician, hair braider, nail tech, or instructor in need of DV/SA CE for license renewal.
