Exciting News: Tahani Hammad Named West Suburban Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Regional 30 Under 40 Recipient

Pillars Community Health (PCH) is proud to announce that Tahani Hammad, Associate Vice President of Domestic and Sexual Violence Services, has been named as one of the recipients of the West Suburban Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Regional 30 Under 40 Award.

Tahani received this incredible honor Thursday, May 22, 2024, at Premier Catering and Events in Countryside, IL.

When speaking on the importance of this award Tahani had this to say, A heartfelt thank you to PCH for nominating me to receive WSCCI‘s Regional 30 under 40 award. It’s an honor and privilege for me to serve survivors every day. Standing alongside strong leaders of our community reminded me how important it is to continue the bold work of empowering survivors to grow and thrive.”

The West Suburban Chamber of Commerce and Industry designed The Regional 30 Under 40 to recognize individuals making an impact in the community. Tahani has been with PCH for 10 years and has made a lasting impact on domestic and sexual abuse survivors and the greater community.

“Tahani shows up every day with heart, wisdom, and a deep respect for the people we serve,” said Julie Ryan, Chief External Affairs Officer at Pillars Community Health. “She’s not just a leader in title—she leads by example, and her work has made our programs stronger, more responsive, and more rooted in what survivors truly need.”

Tahani joined Pillars Community Health 10 years ago as a Sexual Assault Therapist and has since advanced to Clinical Supervisor and now Associate Vice President of Domestic and Sexual Violence Services. Prior to joining PCH, she spent nearly a decade supporting trauma survivors from underserved communities.

Pillars Community Health celebrates this well-deserved recognition of Tahani’s contributions. Her passion for client-centered, trauma-informed services is at the forefront of all she does and reflects the core of who we are as an organization. Her work exemplifies our mission to deliver compassionate, whole-person care—addressing not only physical and behavioral health needs but also the personal safety and dignity of every individual we serve.

We look forward to seeing what Tahani does next throughout her incredible journey at PCH!
