We know that home is not a safe place for everyone. Having to remain at home with an abuser can create a higher risk of abuse. Our Domestic and Sexual Violence staff continue to serve clients through our FREE 24-hour hotlines (domestic violence: 708-485-5254, sexual assault: 708-482-9600), court advocacy, shelter, and counseling. Tips for survivors are available in our YouTube video.
Outreach and advocacy staff are actively planning digital outreach. Stay tuned to our Facebook page to find out about new events as they open up.
Services We Offer
Emergency Housing
Our shelter provides confidential and secure emergency housing for those escaping domestic and sexual violence. This safe space allows survivors to find peace and start the process of rebuilding their lives without fear.
Comprehensive Counseling
We provide compassionate and confidential counseling services to support survivors emotionally and psychologically. Our individual and group counseling sessions help survivors process their experiences, develop coping strategies, and work toward long-term recovery.
Legal and Medical Advocacy
Navigating the legal and medical systems can be daunting. Our advocates are here to assist with obtaining orders of protection, understanding legal rights, and accessing necessary medical care. We provide guidance and support throughout these processes to ensure survivors receive the help they need.
