The new hours will be:
- Monday – Tuesday: 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Wednesday: 12:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Thursday: 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Friday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Saturday: 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
These extended hours will allow more flexibility for individuals and families to access primary care, behavioral health, dental care, psychiatry, and support services, particularly for those who need early morning, evening, or weekend appointments.
“We know that access is one of the biggest barriers to care,” said Angela Curran, CEO of Pillars Community Health. “These new hours reflect our commitment to whole-person care and meeting people where they are—both literally and figuratively.”
Pillars Community Health was awarded a Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Expanded Hours Grant to support this effort. The grant is designed to help Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) like PCH extend their reach and improve access for underserved communities.
“We are grateful to HRSA for recognizing the needs in our region and investing in our ability to serve more people at more times,” said Curran. “This support enables us to make care more convenient and responsive to real-life challenges.”
The Integrated Health Center brings together medical, dental, and behavioral health services under one roof, along with support for substance use, domestic and sexual violence services, benefits enrollment, and more. The goal is to create a single access point for community members seeking coordinated, compassionate care.
Appointments can be made by calling 708-PILLARS or visiting PillarsCommunityHealth.org and using the patient portal. Walk-ins and same-day appointments are also available for many services. Please note that not all services are available during all extended hours; availability may vary by program.
