On September 15, a small group of Pillars Community Health’s staff, board members, supporters, and community partners gathered for Let’s Taco-Bout PCH, a community event hosted in the backyard of Eric and Becky Spratford to bring the PCH community together once again. There was a taco truck from Tacos Los Jarochitos, drinks, churros, music from a paired down LT student Jazz Ensemble, Deplorable Behavior, and updates on all things PCH.
With Pillars Community Health entering its second century, there was a lot to taco-bout at this event. Hosts Eric and Becky Spratford, CEO and President Angela Curran, and Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Jennifer Swoyer spoke about their involvement with Pillars Community Health, current initiatives, and the impact PCH has on the community.
“I truly believe that there is no more impactful charity in the Chicago area. Pillars Community Health affects positive change by caring for and empowering so many people in so many ways,” Eric Spratford said while speaking at the event. “The group we gathered here today will be crucially important as we enter our second 100 years.”
Taco-Bout PCH was a great time to reconnect with the community, indulge in delicious food, and learn more about what’s to come for Pillars Community Health. A big thank you to board member and volunteer (respectively) Eric and Becky Spratford for hosting this event!
