At the 2026 All In For PCH Gala, Pillars Community Health will honor former President and CEO Angela Curran with the Power of One Award, recognizing her decades of leadership and commitment to whole-person care.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Countryside, IL — Pillars Community Health (PCH) is proud to announce that Angela Curran, former President and CEO of Pillars Community Health, will receive the organization’s 2026 Power of One Award at its annual gala, All In For PCH, on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 6 – 11 p.m.

The Power of One Award, created by the PCH Board of Directors, recognizes an individual whose leadership, service, and commitment have made a lasting and transformative impact on the organization and the communities it serves.

Angela Curran has dedicated more than two decades to advancing access to care and strengthening whole-person health services across the region. She joined the board of Community Nurse in 2003 and was hired as Executive Director in 2007. Under her leadership, Community Nurse became a Federally Qualified Health Center in 2012, significantly expanding access to medical and dental care. In 2017, she guided the successful merger of Community Nurse and Pillars, forming Pillars Community Health and serving as President and CEO until her retirement on November 21, 2025.

Under Curran’s leadership, Pillars Community Health expanded access to integrated, whole-person care for thousands of individuals and families across the region. She championed the growth of medical, dental, behavioral health, and crisis services while strengthening the organization’s financial stability and community partnerships. Her vision and steady leadership positioned Pillars Community Health to respond to evolving community needs and continue delivering care without barriers.

The Power of One Award honors leaders whose individual commitment creates lasting, collective impact. Angela Curran’s career reflects that principle through her unwavering focus on access, dignity, and care for the whole person, making her a fitting recipient of this year’s award.

The All In For PCH gala will bring together community leaders, partners, and supporters for an evening of celebration and philanthropy in support of Pillars Community Health’s mission. Individual tickets and sponsorship tables are now available.
