Sexual violence affects people of every gender identity, and sexual orientation. Those who identify as part of the LGBTQi+ communities also experience sexual violence and may face different challenges in accessing legal, medical, law or other resources. Dansen (pronounced Dawn-sen) Mayhay, Gender pronouns she/her, Community Engagement and Training Coordinator from the Center on Halsted, will present insights on working with survivors from the LGBTQi+ community.
