For the past 25 years, Buddy's Place has been a welcoming space for children and teens to grow together in community while grieving. Throughout 8-week sessions and monthly gatherings, we support youth and their caregivers through grief education, opportunities for creative expression, and the fostering of caring relationships built upon a shared understanding of the lived experience of grief.
Grief can surface suddenly or linger quietly, showing up in ways that impact a child's ability to grow, learn, and thrive. Grief can be isolating. Without support, silence can take root, as youth feel alone, different, and misunderstood.
