1 in 3 people experience domestic violence in their lifetime. You can help! Learn about domestic violence and how to support and advocate for survivors in this free ZOOM training.
Completion of this course qualifies participant to volunteer with the Pillars Community Health – Constance Morris House Domestic Violence Program. This course is also appropriate for professional development. However, this virtual format is not approved for those who wish to become IL Certified Domestic Violence Professionals (CDVP).
Meeting dates for this training are as follows:
- Mon. and Tues., Nov. 9 and 10: 6pm-9pm Sat., Nov. 14, 8am-12pm and 1pm-4pm
- Tues. and Wed., Nov. 17 and 18: 6pm-9pm Sat., Nov. 21, 8am-12pm and 1pm-4pm
- Mon., Nov. 23: 6pm-9pm (Nov. 24 – 30 no class due to the Thanksgiving holiday)
- Tues. and Wed., Dec. 1 and 2: 6pm-9pm Tues. and Wed., Dec. 8 and 9: 6pm-9pm
