DEA Prescription Drug Takeback Day
Drug overdoses are a clear and present danger to the United States’ public health, public safety, and national security. In an effort to stop prescription misuse and opioid addiction before it even begins, Pillars Community Health, in partnership with the Coalition for a Drug-Free Lyons Township, is participating in the DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, encouraging the public to remove unneeded medications from their homes. Properly dispose of unneeded prescription drug medications, seek substance abuse treatment, and learn more about the drug overdose epidemic in our community and nationally.
