Throughout October, Pillars Community Health (PCH) and our community partners invite you to join the conversation, share resources, and help more people know where to turn.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In 2025, <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">1,067 survivors of domestic and sexual violence received advocacy and counseling<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> through PCH. We also provided <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">shelter and safety to 96 individuals<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> at Constance Morris House, our domestic violence shelter. These services continue throughout the year.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">If you or someone you know is seeking domestic violence support, call PCH\u2019s confidential, 24-hour Domestic Violence Crisis Line at 708-485-5254.<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h1><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">What Domestic Violence Support Does PCH Offer?<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h1>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">PCH offers a range of free services for survivors, including crisis support, counseling, medical and legal advocacy, and emergency shelter at Constance Morris House. Our team can help people explore their options and connect with support that fits their circumstances. You do not have to know which service you need before calling.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Our work also includes education and prevention. By helping people recognize warning signs and learn about healthy relationships, we can strengthen the community response to domestic violence.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h1><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Join Us During October<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h1>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Wear purple on Tuesday, Oct. 6.<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> A purple shirt, ribbon or accessory can show support for survivors and open the door to a conversation about available resources.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Fall Readiness: Healthy Habits | Thursday, Oct. 15, 4:30\u20137 p.m.<\/span><\/b><br \/>\n<span data-contrast=\"auto\">Summit Park District, 5700 S. Archer Road, Summit<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Join PCH, Molina Healthcare and Summit Park District for community resources, refreshments and a Q&amp;A with professionals. PCH will offer a teen dating violence awareness presentation at 5 p.m.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Connected for Safety | Sunday, Oct. 25, 11 a.m.\u20132 p.m.<\/span><\/b><br \/>\n<span data-contrast=\"auto\">The Elm Restaurant, 23 W.
