While grief is universal, each person\u2019s journey through it is unique. During these challenging times, it\u2019s crucial to ensure that grieving children have access to essential resources and support.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">For over 20 years Pillars Community Health\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/pillarscommunityhealth.org\/services\/behavioral-health-and-support-services\/buddys-place-grief-support\/\">Buddy\u2019s Place childhood bereavement program<\/a> has offered no-cost family-based support groups to children and teens ages 4-18 and their families who are grieving the death of someone significant in their lives. This November educate yourself on how you can support children and teens who are grieving. Look into active campaigns on children\u2019s grief like the <a href=\"https:\/\/nacg.org\/\">National Alliance for Children\u2019s Grief\u2019s (NACG)<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/nacg.org\/practice-flip-the-script\/?srsltid=AfmBOorMHg8iRmGoY83_5yMh9UQvYE2Kj24JNZaciVl5b5m24zutDqjD\">\u201cFlipping the Script\u201d<\/a>, which highlight words grieving children don\u2019t find helpful and suggests how you can take action to better help them during the grieving process. Show your support for children and teens who are grieving and consider donating to Buddy\u2019s Place, so that youth and their families can continue to have access to more resources. Get involved by becoming a volunteer at Buddy\u2019s Place. Volunteer opportunities include helping as a greeter, group facilitator, or with child care.
